Accurately depicts left thoracic outlet syndrome with subsequent surgical decompression of the brachial plexus. Surgical steps: 1. Initial condition with compression and scarring of the left brachial plexus due to compression between the scalene muscles; 2. Creation of an incision in the region of the clavicle; 3. Resection of the overlying scalene muscle segment; 4. Resection of scar tissue; 5. Placement of surgical film to decrease future scarring.
