Neck Surgery - C4-5, C5-6 Disc Herniations with Discectomy (Diskectomy) and Spinal Fusion. Surgical steps: 1. A transverse incision on the right side of the neck; 2. Surgically removing the C4-5 disc material while burring away the C5-6 vertebral body endplates in preparation for a hip bone graft; 3. Counter-sinking the hip bone graft in the C4-5 and C5-6 interspaces; and 4. Placing the spinal fusion synthes plate using six screws.
