Aspiration of Stomach Contents Due to Choke Hold

This custom medical exhibit was designed to show how forced pressure on the abdomen -combined with a choke hold , resulted in aspiration of the stomachs food contents into the passages of the lungs. Once in the lungs, the stomach contents filled the passages and alveolar sacs, obstructing oxygen flow to the body's vital organs.
