Accurate medical-legal exhibit depicting Cloward anterior cervical discectomy (diskectomy) and spinal fusion surgery. May be used to demonstrate the procedure from any vertebral level from C2 to C7. Surgical steps: 1. The surgical incision made at the base of the neck; 2. Removing the herniated intervertebral disc material; 3. Using a Cloward drill to create a hole in the vertebral body end plates; and 4. Placing a dowel-shaped bone graft in the drill hole, completing the spinal fusion procedure.
