Surgery - L2-3 Disc Herniation with Laminectomy and Discectomy (Diskectomy). The following surgical steps are shown: 1. An incision made in the lower back; 2. Opening the incision to show the L2-3 lumbar vertebrae; 3. Performing a laminectomy of the L3 vertebra exposing the herniated disc; and 4. Removing the herniated disc material.
